We feature home cooked meals, a friendly atmosphere and staff.  With over 30 years of experience, we can accommodate groups of 50 to 340 people.

 

GUIDELINES FOR HALL AND BANQUET SERVICES AT BLESSED SACRAMENT HALL

Please call Al Scott 519 758-5228 for alcohol supply, licensing and delivery arrangements at least 4 weeks before event.

Thank-you for choosing us to be part of your celebration.   We wish to assure you that every effort will be made to make your event go as smoothly and pleasantly as possible.  These are some basic guidelines that will make things much easier for you as you plan your occasion.

  • The $500.00 hall rental fee is the only way your date will be reserved.  This fee is paid at booking time to hold the hall and is non-refundable.

  • Please contact Hall Manager 30 days prior to event to confirm the final number of guests attending.  50% of the total cost is required to be paid at this time.

  • PAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED 24 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR FUNCTION!

  • AN ADDITIONAL FEE WILL BE ADDED FOR THE FOLLOWING:  

    (A) Coat Checks: Sept 16 - April 30 (inclusive), 1 or 2 coat checkers must be present. (Must be hall staff only)
    (B) Small weddings will be subject to a surcharge.
    (C) Cloth tablecloths and napkins and glassware.

ABSOLUTELY NO confetti of any kind is permitted. (This includes the kind used as table decorations.)

  • $250.00 cheque to cover damage/clean up must be left with the Hall Manager. If there is no damage or unnecessary clean up it will be returned to you following the event.

  • If a seating plan is to be set up, our tables seat 8 to 10 people, no more (if less than 8 are placed at one table that table will be charged for 8 dinners.)  (Please provide a seating plan to the Hall Manager one week prior to event)

  • Liquor permits are YOUR responsibility; THE LIQUOR MUST ARRIVE AT THE HALL THE DAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT to ensure proper cooling .   This is not applicable when the bar service is included in the contract .

  • Damages resulting from the action of any person or persons attending your function is your responsibility.   We require all parties renting the hall to provide Party Alcohol Liability Insurance specifically naming THE DIOCESE OF HAMILTON AND BLESSED SACRAMENT PARISH as co-insured parties and as co-holders of the certificate.

  • No unauthorized personnel may be present in the bar, kitchen or coat check rooms.

  • Candles must be approved by the Hall Manager.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Bartenders:   Guests up to 250 require 2 bartenders

  • Guests of 250 to 350 require 3 bartenders

  • All Bartenders are Smart Serve Qualified

  • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY NOT BE TAKEN OUTSIDE THE HALL.

  • YOU MUST CONTACT HEAD BARTENDER Al Scott 519 758-5228 for alcohol supply, licensing and delivery arrangements at least 4 weeks before event.

2 Meats includes:
Cabbage Rolls and one of the following: Beef, Pork, Chicken or Schnitzel
Parsley, Mashed, or Roasted Potatoes
Vegetables
Garden Salad with house dressing
(Caesar Salad is $1.00 extra)
Tea and Coffee
Desserts: Fruit Delight, Black Forest Cake, or Mocha Slices (Cheesecake and Crepes a la mode at extra cost)
Includes Night Lunch and Complete Bar
Wine is extra and a corkage fee is applied.

3 Meats includes:

As we are a charitable organization we do not charge HST and we do not automatically charge a gratuity.  We leave that up to your discretion.
