Accommodations for an engagement or wedding are important in that they may serve many needs for an engaged couple. Reserving a place of accommodation whether it is a hotel, motel, inn, bed and breakfast or specialty room or suite requires some planning and arranging in order to ensure that you have secured the appropriate type.

An engagement may include a dinner and an overnight or week-end stay at a luxurious room with a Jacuzzi. It may also be a week-end away at resort or a room with or without a view.

For the wedding night or week-end, a couple may want to reserve a room to pamper themselves after their big day. If a couple has out of town guests coming to the wedding, they may not have the room to house them in their home and may secure a block of rooms. They may recommend a place of accommodation or a few places to their guests depending on whether they are looking for something simple or wish to save money or if they wish to treat themselves during the time they visit.

A Banquet Hall or Venue may be one of the most important areas of consideration for a couple. Securing a reservation for a Banquet Hall or Venue is important to do as far in advance as possible. Depending on the facility, you may need to make your booking at least one year in advance (or more) to get the date you wish.

Be sure to prepare your guest list first in order to know how many people will be attending your wedding before you book your Banquet Hall or Venue. Decide if you wish to have a Banquet Hall that is full service or a Venue that is not.

Determine what is important for your wedding and what you would like and if the Banquet Hall or Venue is able to accommodate your requests. Wheelchair accessibility, parking and any extras you wish for your wedding.
